The Graverobber (Part 3) - The RuleBreaker (Pastor Jamie Schulz)

We are continuing our trek through the gospel of John as we look at the miracles Jesus performed and how they shape our perspective of Him. Listen in as Jamie talks about The RuleBreaker in this next sermon of the series.

John 14:12a (NIV) - Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these.

John 5:1-9a (NIV) - 1 Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. 3 Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. 5 One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” 7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.” 8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.

Luke 1:37 (NLT) - Nothing is impossible with God.

John 5:10b (ESV) - It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed.

The Graverobber (Part 2) - The 7th Hour (Pastor Danny Schulz)

Pastor Danny talks about being in the right place at the right time and discovering the good works that God has prepared in advance for us to walk in. Listen in on this second sermon of the Graverobber series about the God of Longitude and Latitude.

Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

John 4:46-54 (ESV) - 46 So he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill. 47 When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. 48 So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.” 49 The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” 50 Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way. 51 As he was going down, his servants met him and told him that his son was recovering. 52 So he asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” 53 The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” And he himself believed, and all his household. 54 This was now the second sign that Jesus did when he had come from Judea to Galilee.

John 15:7 (ESV) - If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Psalms 119:105 (NLT) - Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

The Graverobber (Part 1) - The WineMaker (Pastor Danny Schulz)

This is the first sermon in our new series entitled Graverobber. We are looking at some of the miracles of Jesus and letting them shape our understanding of who He is. It is causing our faith to be stretched as we believe God to do incredible things in our own lives.

Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) - But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

John 2:1-11 (NLT) - 1 The next day there was a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2 and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration. 3 The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told him, “They have no more wine.” 4 “Dear woman, that's not our problem,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.” 5 But his mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” 6 Standing nearby were six stone water jars, used for Jewish ceremonial washing. Each could hold twenty to thirty gallons. 7 Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” When the jars had been filled, 8 he said, “Now dip some out, and take it to the master of ceremonies.” So the servants followed his instructions. 9 When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. 10 “A host always serves the best wine first,” he said. “Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!” 11 This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

Colossians 1:16b-17 (ESV) - 16b all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Easter 2015 (Pastor Danny Schulz)

Our first Easter as a church was AMAZING!  Listen in as Pastor Danny shares an Easter message that cuts to the heart of why we celebrate this important day.

Matthew  16:13-17 (NLT) - 13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 “Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.” 15 Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.

John 1:29b (NLT) - ...“Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

John 6:51 (NLT) - I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which I will offer so the world may live, is my flesh.”

John 10:30-33 (NLT) - 30 The Father and I are one.” 31 Once again the people picked up stones to kill him. 32 Jesus said, “At my Father's direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?” 33 They replied, “We're stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God.”

John 11:25-26a (NLT) - 25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. 26 Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die.

John 14:9b (NLT) - Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father!

John 20:1-2 (NLT) - 1 Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. 2 She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him!”

Luke 24:10-11 (NLT) - 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and several other women who told the apostles what had happened. 11 But the story sounded like nonsense to the men, so they didn't believe it.

John 20:3-8 (NLT) - 3 Peter and the other disciple started out for the tomb. 4 They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He stooped and looked in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he didn't go in. 6 Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, 7 while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings. 8 Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed.

Acts 3:15 (NLT) - You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. And we are witnesses of this fact!

God Needs A Donkey (Pastor Danny Schulz)

Danny gives us a different perspective on Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem in this sermon about carrying the Presence of God into the lives of our friends and family. Listen in as we celebrate Palm Sunday and prepare for Easter.

Luke 19:29-40 (NLT) - 29 As he came to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany on the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples ahead. 30 “Go into that village over there,” he told them. “As you enter it, you will see a young donkey tied there that no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 31 If anyone asks, ‘Why are you untying that colt?’ just say, ‘The Lord needs it.’ ” 32 So they went and found the colt, just as Jesus had said. 33 And sure enough, as they were untying it, the owners asked them, “Why are you untying that colt?” 34 And the disciples simply replied, “The Lord needs it.” 35 So they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their garments over it for him to ride on. 36 As he rode along, the crowds spread out their garments on the road ahead of him. 37 When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen. 38 “Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!” 39 But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, “Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!” 40 He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!”

Zechariah 9:9 (NLT) - Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey- riding on a donkey's colt.

Isaiah 52:7a (NLT) - How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation...
